Where to start?

When Stephanie is with Steve, she feels like she's under pressure, like way down deep in the water. But Steve gives her direction, he always has something for her to do and this means Stephanie doesn't experience the great emptiness of indecision. At times it seems like she'd be willing to do almost anything to avoid that emptiness and when she thinks about it, its hard to imagine what Steve hasn't asked her to do.

Four years ago when Curls and Stephanie were here they were not just seniors but stars. The two of them were the fastest things the swim team had ever seen, and Stephanie was on the cheer squad and had been named Miss Solstice. Even then, and long before then, Stephanie had a keen fashion sense and interest, maybe Steve had started that in her but her sense was all hers.
