CHERYL

.... Cheryl was born a romantic. She was in love with love. She loved fairy tales where the little girl met a prince. She loved fairy tales because they were simple and life was complex. Little girls don't meet princes, or if they did they were told not to trust them and to tell their parents.

The only way a person gets clear is to hit bottom, to be threatened with loosing something they really care about. If they don't have that something, then they don't get clear.

.... Jason completely avoids former addicts and alcoholics, they have the strongest wills in the world.

.... In the psychologist's notes Jason found that Beth had a crush on a particularly teacher for three years back in seventh through ninth grades. She had never told anyone about it. Jason had this man located. He was still teaching.

.... Jason presented a recent photo of the man before, during and after a car struck him a glancing blow while crossing at a corner to Beth the night before he took her to The House. The man wasn't hurt in that accident. A second accident some months later cost him a broken arm. (Beth had let her dislike for girl/girl sex show.)
